electronic rodent repellers Important Roadmap

I started using these a few years ago to deter birds and squirrels from setting up house in my attics and gutters. I now have 4 units in the attics for total coverage and they do a great job. I used to have to do battle with squirrels and clean nests out of my gutters every year. I haven’t had a single problem since I started using these devices. They may seem expensive, but if you’ve ever had to tangle with a squirrel, you’ll pay any price not to repeat that experience. I also don’t have the birds annoying chirping waking me up every morning and save on gutter maintenance. I’m hoping for a more powerful model that works on children. :D

With Mother’s Day behind us some of us went to sleep feeling appreciated and understood and some of us went to sleep wondering what attracted us to the caveman we married and produced children with in the first place. Women generally shop based on what they would like to receive and tend to be thoughtful and personal in choosing gifts.

Although men can be romantic and thoughtful there is a good chance that at some point in your married life you will receive an appliance as a gift. When you receive the said appliance and give your husband “the look” he will immediately tell you he meant nothing by it and thought he was buying you something you would like.

With Father’s Day right around the corner, if you did not receive jewelry, an expensive electronic rodent repellers luxury item, a gift you requested, or at least personal bath items, and a lovely meal then we may have just the training tool you need. Men often mean well but after wandering through the mall for hours clueless, they often give up and opt for the gift certificate, flowers, or appliance. Cheer up girls it doesn’t happen out of apathy but necessity. Here is the ticket to make it stop.

Men seem to love gadgets and tools that enhance their ability to show off their masculinity. They tend to shy away from gadgets and gizmos that “do the work for them” or somehow seem less manly. Here is a gift that serves a purpose and renders the screaming for your husband obsolete. The Mouse Mover Ultrasonic Rodent Deterent.

The high pitched sounds are heard only by rodents and therefore they stay as far aways as possible. The rodent deterrent also offers:

Plug-in electronic device emits safe ultrasonic sound waves that drive away mice and rats — silently!

Clean and odorless — no noxious poisons, messy traps or dangerous chemicals.

Two built-in speakers emit ever-changing frequencies that rodents cannot get used to — so they leave!

The 95dB of ultrasound is blasted in opposite directions across a broad 27-44KHz range.

The “pet friendly” setting won’t bother non-rodent animals such as dogs, cats and birds.

It also works great at repelling bats or squirrels.

Hangs on a wall or stands upright.

Plugs into any standard outlet with included AC adapter.

These worked for about two weeks but now the mice are back seemingly in increasing numbers. Now I left the three installed in my rather small kitchen and yet they made their hiding place very close to two of these “replellers.” More than disappointed.

  2. Belzer says:

When we plugged these in, there were mice in the house,so far I haven’t seen any more mice after we caught those since we’ve been using these Ultrasonic Rodent Repellers. I bought the Repellers sometime in Nov, 2009.

  3. Irvin says:

I have heard something or even things rather large, thought it was a squirrel but can’t be sure, running around and scratching very loudly every day in the roof of my townhouse for the past few weeks. It was so active that I would pound the ceiling trying to scare it away, to no avail. I bought these thinking they were the ones that would work through the walls, but found out differently when they came in. I figured I had nothing to lose, so as soon as I got home, I plugged 2 into an extension cord and popped them rather quickly into the attic opening that is practically right in the center of the house. I am not exactly sure what was up there, but didn’t want to come face to face with it, so I didn’t take much care into placement, just pushed open the board enough for the speakers to fit through and shut it quickly as soon as it cleared. I was amazed when I heard not one little patter or scratch this morning. I sure hope they continue to do the job.

  4. Knutsen says:

Based on the reviews of others about this and other products, I wasn’t sure what to expect about how effective the Repeller would be, but from the day I received the product, I haven’t seen any mice at all. I beleive the Repeller calls for 1 per 800 feet, and although I don’t think my house is that long, it’s pretty long, so I bought 2 per floor. Rather that’s the reason for my success or not, it’s working so I’m sticking to it!

  5. McEntire says:

This device actually worked better than I expected at the price. I got one for my deck, which is about 20 x 10′, due to carpenter bees in the day, and spiders and cockroaches at night.

It has been pretty effective with the carpenter bees. At first I thought they were completely gone but I have seen ONE since plugging in the Pest-A-Repel. Considering that before, I couldn’t even sit peacefully in a chair without the bees buzzing around my head, this is definitely an improvement.

There is also an improvement in the spider webs, which normally when I open the back door at night I would get one in the face if I didn’t wave my hands around like a lunatic. So far no spider webs, at least not near the door or area where I sit.

So far it hasn’t affected the roaches that come out at night but I’m taking a wait and see attitude. The instructions say it can take a few weeks to start working fully, and it’s only been about 2 weeks.

Even if it doesn’t affect the roaches I feel this was a good value.

  6. McGee says:

There seems to be a marked decrease of roaches (the chief reason I purchased this) but there are still some that need to be gotten rid of. When I first got it, I waited till I saw a roach before I turned it on–the roach kinda went nuts–so it does affect them.

Since its been less than a month since I turned it on, I can’t say one way or the other whether its totally effective since the product info says it may take longer, but it certainly does seem to be affecting the number of them around. I am seeing less than I used to, and the quiet ticking it produces is hardly noticeable–unless you’re listening for it, or the room where it is is absolutely totally quiet.

For the money it costs, this unit is worth a try. It certainly does beat the repeated cost and possible danger of chemical use.

  7. Bhagwandin says:

Don’t waste your money. I got rid of the little pests by first finding the hole where they were coming in and cramming it with steel wool. I haven’t seen them since. But it had NOTHING to do with this device. I had it plugged in for about a month and they were still coming inside just as often. It didn’t appear to even phase them.

  8. James says:

As far as I can tell it’s working in the house, I haven’t seen any insects. We have never had a problem with insects/rodents in the house because I have always had pest repellers, just not this brand. One of my original repellers quit and I replaced it with the DX610. I liked it and thought it was working so I just put 2 in the garage for rodents but can’t tell at present if they’re effective. I need more time to make an evaluation. I will say that since putting them in the garage, I haven’t noticed any insects.

  9. Blanford says:

This works if used as part of an overall plan. Place as many of these as you can. Place traps to catch the mice, place peppermint oil on cotton balls in other locations around the house. Most importantly find the entry points and seal them, stuff holes with steel wool and seal the edges or plaster over if possible. These steps together will get rid of your mouse problem but no one of these alone will work.

  10. Boardman says:

This seems to be working, but please note that it emits a noise that humans can hear. So, do NOT plan on using this in a quiet home setting. I use it in my garage in order to keep mice away during the winter storage season. Great for that purpose.

  11. Dreier says:

We had a BIG problem with rodents eating birdseed in the garage and repaying the favor by nesting in the air filters of our cars. I installed the rodent chaser the same day as I had my car serviced and a huge mouse nest removed from the air filter… It has been three weeks since. Spilled bird seed is still on the floor and there are no uninvited guests living in any of the cars.. Great product. Sound is undetectable and doesn’t bother my dogs.

  12. Everitt says:

This does nothing to prevent mice from coming into your home. I have 6 of these, and still got a mouse. Waste of money.
